MEET THE CHECKSAMMY TEAM

Sam co-founded CheckSammy in 2018 with the vision of creating the “next-generation” of sustainable waste management solutions by leveraging technology to enable the tracking, measuring, and reporting of actionable, data- driven insights to customers looking to manage waste more efficiently. Prior to founding CheckSammy, Sam spent 20+ years working in finance and assisting technology start-ups with their strategic and capital-raising objectives.

Paul co-founded CheckSammy in 2018 and brings 20+ years of experience leading and advising technology companies across acquisitions, operations, and sales and marketing strategies​. Previously, Paul held Managing Director (CEO) roles for Scorecard Media, Europa Point Group and Peak Technologies before establishing his own advisory boutique focused on eCommerce, mobile, marketing, and software development services​. Paul also has significant experience in blockchain technologies, previously developing a cryptocurrency arbitrage strategy, and currently serves as an advisory partner to Codex Capital Partners​.

Paul volunteers his time with various non-profits in his local community. Paul is the President of Coastal FC soccer club with over 4,000 members focusing on youth and adult soccer and is a board member of Crescent Beach Swimming Club.

Fraser brings 20+ years of financial leadership experience to CheckSammy, which he joined in 2018​. He has spent over 15 years as a financial executive for Teekay Corporation, a NYSE-listed marine-midstream energy transportation company, where he was involved in numerous capital markets transactions spanning debt and equity raising, spin-off listings on the NYSE and other various forms of financial transaction​s. Fraser began his professional career at Ernst & Young in the audit practice. He is a CPA in the state of Illinois, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder​.

Kris is a consummate professional with over 15 years of operations and logistics experience in the moving and storage industry. Prior to joining CheckSammy in 2019, he served as the Executive Vice President of Operations for Xera One Technologies. Kris has held prior roles at Two Men and a Truck and North American Van Lines, as well as multiple start-up companies​.

Darren has 19+ years in executive roles as former Director of Ops of NASDAQ listed enterprise with focus on infrastructure development and management scaling to 500+ employees.

Darren began his career in technology at the early stages of the internet and has since been involved in numerous high tech, high growth based including Reals Estate Finance, Cryto-Currency, and Gaming.

Donald leads CheckSammy’s efforts to accelerate its growing base of enterprise clients. Campbell previously was Manager, Professional Services, with Cass Information Systems Inc., a leading Waste Expense BPO, where he solved the challenges that new clients face, relying on his more than a decade of waste expense management experience.

Cameron has 12+ years professionally with waste, recycling, and sustainability experience in the Waste Industry. Cameron brings years of experience navigating waste and recycling mandates across the country by city, county, and state.

Cameron previously served as Vendor Relations Manager at Cass Information Systems, Inc. a leading Waste Expense BPO where he led negotiations, contracting, and supported initiatives and services with over 1000 local, regional, and national waste haulers in the U.S.

Cameron comes from a family involved in the Waste Industry watching his grandfather and Father own and operate their hometown hauling company and transfer station

Jake has more than two decades experience in data-driven performance and brand marketing across the entire customer journey. His experience spans B2B, D2c and B2G with a consistent focus on customer-centric Growth Marketing. Jake believes marketing is equal parts Einstein and Picasso. He builds smart teams, empowers them and by doing so, enables the whole to exceed the sum of its parts.

Originally from Vancouver, Jake currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter and is an avid audiophile and fragrance lover.

Ric Hobby is President of Sales at CheckSammy. Ric has spent over 20 years in the waste and recycling industry, finding unique solutions for a range of large regional and national clients. Throughout his career, Ric has successfully led sales organizations with a customer centric approach. In addition, Ric has been an active member of RFMA and Connex.

In his spare time, you will find Ric on the golf course or watching Georgia football. He lives in Frisco, TX and is based in our Dallas office.

Craig brings 12+ years of financial management experience to CheckSammy. Prior to joining CheckSammy he was the Corporate Controller of a large fitness brand, where he was responsible for accounting and financial reporting functions related to their reporting obligations on the TSXV and the TSX. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Craig joined the audit and assurance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
