UX / UI Designer (Vancouver BC, Hybrid)
We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing user interfaces and creating exceptional user experiences for our digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure the design aligns with our brand and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in user research and usability testing to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and interactions.
- Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Organize content and information in a way that enhances user navigation and accessibility.
- Design and implement intuitive and seamless user interactions and transitions.
- Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and make data-driven design improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to iterate on design solutions.
- Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across various devices and platforms.
- Ability to effectively take direction with feedback from co-workers and partners and have excellent communication skills
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
