One metric tonne of carbon dioxide reduction results in the creation of one carbon credit through climate action projects. These credits are tradeble on the voluntary carbon market. Purchasing carbon credits to balance unavoidable emissions is referred to as ‘offsetting.

No. To prevent duplication, the credit is retired after a purchase has been made. The buyer is responsible for the carbon reduction.
Customers can calculate CO2 emissions thanks to the extensive, and trustworthy calculator options developed by our partners, SouthPole. The source, country, quantity, and unit value are some of the parameters that determine how each calculation is generated. The seven types of calculator options we have selected are: Energy, Freight Air, Freight Rail, Freight Road, Freight Sea, Mobility, and Waste.
The carbon offset marketplace and emissions calculator is available in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
