But with so many components, candle recycling can be a challenge.  Here at CheckSammy, we have an entire process in place for candle recycling. For some of our customers, we debrand and donate overflow candle inventory. For others, we source-separate, donate the wax, and recycle the tin cover, wicks, glass, and cardboard packaging. We then send a complete report of all the recycled parts back to our clients.

Many ways, but typically we break the glass jars, melt down and siphon off the wax, and remove the wick, tin and lid.

Heat! We heat it up to melt the wax away, but if you're looking to do it at home, putting it in the freezer helps to separate the wax from the jar.
